Inspired by a routine performed by the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre as part of the New York Dance Project, this sculpture catches the moment when—mid-dance--two dancers gaze into the other’s eyes. In spite of the challenging dance, the tenderness of their connection is striking. How often have you been stirred while peering into someone’s eyes? It is possible to nearly get lost in their depth as you gaze into the window of their soul. A glimpse into infinity.
